According to the Personal Data Act, your personal information must be stored securely and confidentially.

We only store your information on computers and servers with limited access, which are located in secure and controlled facilities.

Our security measures are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure that your information is stored securely.

However, we cannot guarantee full security in relation to data on the internet, and it is therefore important that you yourself pay attention to protecting your personal information – for example against virus or hacker attacks. Submission of personal information is always done at your own risk.

Personal information is stored for a maximum of 12 months after use/last use.

3.1 What information do we store?

In order for you to get an overview, we have made a general summary of which categories of information we collect:

  • Master data about you as a customer. This can be, for example, your name, your e-mail address, telephone number and other basic data. This information is necessary for us to deliver our services to you.
  • Information collected when using our website – e.g. information about internet device (phone, computer), browser version, IP address, cookies, geographic location, operating system. These are used to give us insight into users' use of our website or other services.
  • Information that you provide to us in connection with signing up for newsletters or participating in competitions on Facebook etc. – e.g. name and e-mail address. This information is used for marketing purposes if you have given your consent.

itpilot respects your privacy. Therefore, we do not collect sensitive information about e.g. racial or ethnic background, political, religious, sexual, or philosophical beliefs.

3.2 Disclosure

Personal data will not be passed on to third parties, unless you give your active consent. We never collect personal data without you having given us this information yourself when registering, purchasing or participating in a survey/competition or in any other way.

You have a number of rights under the Personal Data Act in relation to the information we collect about you.

4.1 Right to insight

You have the right to know what personal data we have collected about you. Therefore, you can always contact us to get this information.

4.2 Right to rectification or erasure

You have the right to have incorrect or misleading information about you corrected or deleted.

4.3. Right to object

You have the right to object to us collecting and processing information about you. At the same time, you can always revoke your consent to us storing information about you.

4.4 Right to appeal

You have the opportunity to complain about the processing of information and data concerning you. Complaints are submitted to the Danish Data Protection Authority, cf. section 58, subsection of the Personal Data Act. 1.
