Odoopilot is approved by the Danish Business Authority as a bookkeeping system
When we became Odoo partners, earlier this year, we also knew that the next important goal for us was to get Odoo's accounting module approved by the Danish Business Authority. Therefore, we are happy to say that Odoopilot, as we call it, has now been approved as an accounting system.
The approval means that you, as Odoo users, can be sure that the system meets all requirements in the Bookkeeping Act, which ensures that your bookkeeping and financial management takes place according to applicable standards. With the approval, you as a company are therefore guaranteed an accounting system that complies with the legal requirements for digital solutions, as well as that the system supports a modern and legally required bookkeeping process.

What does the new accounting law require?
The purpose of the new Bookkeeping Act is to make it easier for businesses to book (and reconcile the bookkeeping) correctly, to send and receive e-invoices and to automatically report both annual accounts and VAT.
Therefore, the new Bookkeeping Act also requires that bookkeeping takes place digitally, which places a number of requirements on the digital accounting systems. Some of the requirements set out in the Accounting Act are:
- that transactions must be recorded in a digital accounting system.
- that attachments (purchase and sales invoices) are stored digitally in the accounting system.
- that transactions cannot be deleted in the accounting system..
- that data is regularly backed up..
- that data can be read out to authorities.
With Odoopilot, you can be sure that all bookkeeping data is handled and stored in accordance with the requirements of the new Bookkeeping Act. You don't have to worry about complying with the law's specifications manually, as Odoopilot's functions ensure that transactions are recorded correctly and that all documents are stored digitally and securely. In this way, you ensure that your bookkeeping is always in order and that data can be accessed and read at any time if required by the authorities.
Odoo is much more than bookkeeping and accounting
Odoo is an open source ERP system, and the system therefore also offers much more than an accounting system. Odoo consists of a wide range of business applications and tools that can help you manage and optimize your work processes
With Odoo, you get a platform where data is easily shared and used across departments, which creates a solid foundation for a more efficient and data-driven company. When your data is stored in one place, you can save time and avoid manual errors, as information is automatically updated and available in real time. This strengthens cooperation between departments and gives you a deeper insight into the company's finances and daily operations.
In Odoo, you can follow the entire customer journey – right from the start, when the customer is a lead in the CRM module, until an offer is sent in the sales module. Sales data can be automatically transferred to the accounting module (Odoopilot), and the system can also create tasks in the project management or production module. This is just a small example of how data can be automatically transferred to other modules.
Through Odoo's efficient data sharing, you can avoid double registrations and manual errors, as data only needs to be entered once and then automatically shared across the system.
